Each day of the week has a unique significance and is dedicated to different acts of love like proposing, giving a rose and teddy bear, hugging, kissing etc. And February 12 is celebrated as 'Hug Day'.

 How to make Jewelry organizer out of broken (Hair Clutcher/Hair Claw Clip) || Life hacks for girls

Jewelry Storage Hacks:- Making of Jewellery organizer out of broken (Hair Clutcher/Hair Claw Clips) are easy life hacks every Girl Should Know !!! I have planned a project with broken (Hair Clutcher/Hair Claw Clips). 

This is a simple jewelry organizer which involves warli art. I took 3 cardboard pieces and 3 colored papers and picked the musician warli art theme. Now I have drawn the outline with pencil and painted it with black color.

Then I sticked these painted color papers to cardboard pieces. Now I made small holes 4 on each side on the bottom of the cardboard piece. I made 12 holes in the center cardboard piece. Holes are made according to clutcher size. using binding wires I have fixed the broken clutches into the holes.

Now I took a long cardboard piece which looks like a scale and fixed a hook to hang. I set up 3 cardboard pieces on the long cardboard piece maintaining some distance between the 3 pieces. 

Now jewellery organizer or hanger is ready with totally recycled materials or waste material. 

Here I hanged chains, earrings , hair bands, finger rings. You can arrange with your own jewellery ideas💡. 

Bottle Lamp

How to make a lamp out of a plastic bottle

Here is a video on how to make beautiful lamp out of plastic bottle. Take a few color papers cut into 2 inch strips and fold them in half. With the help of a circular bangle trace it half and cut it on trace it looks half circle. 

Do the same thing with all the color sheets. Now cut the bottle up to the neck and make it even. Now with the help of a Fevicol stick the half Circle to the bottle circular wise and cover the whole bottle with different colors.

 Now set the fairy lights in the glass and close the glass with a bottle and switch on the lights. Here it is! The colorful party light is ready. 

If you want it fixed you can fix the bulb and let it stay stand by.

 

Paper Lantern Light

Making of paper lantern light at home / How to make paper lantern light  :- Making paper lantern light are very easy and can be made with in 5 minutes if you have required material. All we need is different shaded color papers two of similar size one a half inch less than other. 

Now keep the color paper a side and fold the other paper in half and slit in the folding as the top corners stay attached.

Now open the folding and you can observe the top and bottom of paper stay together and middle of the paper is stripped. Then place the stripper paper on plain paper and stick it on top and bottom.

Roll the plane paper towards inside and stick it in corners. Now attach a handle if you want to hang or let them stay as they are if you want to place them on table.

 Finally fix some lights in them and here we go paper lantern is ready to glow and give festival look.

Making a beautiful water candle at home :- Here is a beautiful video for lightening up your home with beautiful no wax water candles. Here is a very simple technique with simple things that are available in home. 

Things are very simple. We just need a plain glass jar, a plastic sheet, a wick, some flowers artificial or natural, some amount of oil. First cut the plastic sheet in circular shape and make a hole in the center. The hole should be enough to set a wick in it.

Take the jar and fit the flower in it, pour water so that the jar fills and pour oil one the top of the water and now set the wick in a circular sheet and drop it in the water. 

Everything is done. Now turn off the lights and light the wicks.

Note: Dip the wicks in oil so that they lit fast and stay long.

Diya Stand

Here is a beautiful DIYA stand which just takes 2 to 5 minutes to do and gives a bright look.

Take a tin can which is used and cut open it as doors from center leaving top and bottom as it is. Now open the doors wide and fold them slightly towards front.

Then place the light DIYA on the base and lit it the reflection of light falls on three sides and gives a bright look.This process heathens up the can so fast so be careful when you touch it. Select the perfect place before you lit the light.

Paper egg tray lampshade

Egg carton crafts easy :- Lampshade using Paper Egg Tray/(Egg paper cartons) can be recycled in many ways. One of the ways in recycling is making colorful light shades/Lampshade.These can be used as garland,entrance decor, festival decor,wall decor.

First of all I cut the Egg carton/Egg Tray into partitions these are very delicate so should cut carefully. Then those partitions or parts are not even in shape. So I have trimmed the edges. Then I have made them in flower shaped and trimmed all the sides in curves.

Then I made a hole in bottom center with pencil then I painted them with red and yellow colors . 10 flowers with red and 10 with yellow , took a fairy light string.

Here I forgot to tell you that you need to double coat the painting. Then insert flowers to lights alternatively color wise. Red flower to first light and yellow flower to second light and so on.  Then the string of lights with colorful flowers is ready..

TIN CAN - FLOWER VASE

FLOWER VASE WITH TIN CANS :- 

Tin cans are best reused , recycle , upcycle , restore , revamp , smarten up , renovated ,  redo , reconditioned , updated.

   

Cut open the top of used and washed can, Then take few thin wooden sticks cut random heights and color them up.

Now all wooden sticks look colorful. Let them dry well and stick them to the can with the help of fevibond (actually I used some local brand alternative to fevibond ). 

Now the can looks colorful and Eco-friendly. Fill the vase with flowers of your choice and beautiful reused colorful vase is ready to give a beautiful and attractive look to the place where you decorate with vase.

Money Bank

TIN CAN MONEY SAVING BANK :- Tin cans or best reused/ recycled/ upcycled/ restore/ revamp /smarten up /renovate/ rehabilitate/ reconditioned/ updated/ re-purpose

    

 First of all I washed the used can then cut open the top using scissors. Then took a circular shaped cardboard and slitted all it's corners. So that it holds the corners of the can.

I have made a slit in bar shape to drop coins and currency notes. Then attached same shaped white paper with slit in bar shape and covered up the cardboard. Then rolled up the bottom of the can with pink paper. 

Tied a quilling strip in yellow color and sticked a Rose made from paper. To give the cute look I have drawn a smiley with dollar sign eyes and money saving bank is ready to save money with used tin cans.

Hollow bricks are a good construction material. Nowadays, it is used at various construction buildings and compound wall. It is very cheap in cost, strong and available at all local construction material shop. Many people used this hollow bricks because it reduces heat and make the building in cool.

The cement concrete dense/ #hollowBricks and blocks are replacing conventional building bricks gradually due to the inherent properties like strength, size accuracy and insulation. These are used both for laying load bearing and non-load bearing walls.

As the constructional activity is growing day by day, there is a good demand for hollow and cement concrete bricks. Cement concrete dense/ hollow bricks and blocks are very popular and are extensively used in building construction throughout the country because of the many advantages such as durability, strength and structural stability, fire resistance, insulation and sound absorption it Possess. 

The cement concrete blocks have an attractive appearance and are readily adaptable to any style of architecture. It lends itself to a wide variety of surface finishes for both exterior and interior walls. 

The blocks are used for both load bearing and non-load bearing walls. The hilly states of India have high humidity, dampness and rainfall, so the blocks are much useful for the N.E.

Region, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, and U.P. etc. 

 It is much needed in regions where traditional bricks are not easily available. It is also popular in case of requirement of low cost housing. The main advantage of concrete blocks is that their strength can be engineered to requirement. 

The global concrete block and brick manufacturing market is gaining from the booming construction sector worldwide. Rapid urbanization leading to the demand for new housing units in developing countries is stoking demand for concrete blocks and bricks. 

#HollowBricksMakingProcess : Concrete is a mixture of ordinary Portland cement, mineral aggregate (sand and stone chips) and water. The water used in preparing the concrete serves two purposes: (1) It combines with the cement to form a hardened paste (2) It lubricates the aggregates to form a plastic and workable mass The water that combines with the cement varies from about 22 to 28% of the total amount of mixing water in concrete. Mineral aggregates (sand and stone chips) are normally divided into two fractions based on their particle size. 

Aggregate particles passing through the No.4 or 4.7 mm Indian Standard sieve are known as fine aggregate. The particles retained on this sieve are designated as coarse aggregate. Natural sand is often used as fine aggregate in cement concrete mixture. Coarse aggregate are crushed stone chips. Crushed stone chips broken into particle sizes passing through the 4.7 mm sieve may also be used as fine aggregate. 

The maximum size of the coarse aggregate that may be used in cement concrete hollow blocks is 12.5 mm. However, the particle size of the coarse aggregate should not exceed one third thickness of the thinnest web of the hollow blocks. Ordinary Portland cement is the cementing material used in cement concrete hollow blocks.

Navaratri/ Dussehra Decors

 How to make Eco-friendly decors for Navaratri/Dussehra

Making some Eco-friendly decorations for Navaratri is good idea. Here in this video I have shared such good idea.Here I have made some flower decors with rice grains and mustard seeds that can be used as decors in front of Goddess during  Dussehra festival.

Starting with a paper rolled like straw with the help of painting brush then sticked the edge with glue. Painted half roll with green color and top half brushed with water and fevicol mixture.

Immediately sprinkled rice grains and I let it dry then applied second coat of glue and sprinkled some more rice grains that filled up the paper. Repeat same with mustard seeds too.

Draw some leaves on paper and paint them with green color and cut them as leaves. Paint the rice grains with yellow color. Then stick leaves on both sides of stem. Here I took two mud pots and decorated them with kundan sticker lines and arranged them with stems of rice grains and mustard seeds and decorated in front of Goddess.

So, the Eco-friendly decor for Navaratri/ Dussehra festival is ready.

Loved watching our craft ideas with waste toothpaste box? Then do these easy best out of waste craft from unused toothpaste boxes.

Cartons can be used to make many DIY organizers and also home decors. Here I have tried making multipurpose organizer using empty toothpaste cartons. I used 4 cartons and a flat carton piece to create organizer or holder.

Starting with cutting cartons to size them at mouths or openings then covered all the cartons with color sheets then to attached them to the base.

To give a special and attractive look I used quilling strips and created borders to cartons. I arranged them in the circular way so that it makes another extra slot to store items. So on total here I have got 5 slots to store.

Finally I have drawn some SMILES in front of all cartons.

 Here 

 1. I have shown arranging toothbrushes and toothpaste near wash basin..

 2. I have arranged serving spoons, forks, knifes etc to use in kitchen.

 3. I have also arranged pens, markers , scale , scissors to use on office table or working table.

Old bangles reuse ideas

 In India wearing mud bangles is tradition in almost all the regions. So, commonly used material can be found in almost all houses are bangles. Particularly mud ones sometimes metal may be.

Here I have tried some home decor centerpiece idea with bangles, empty plaster roll, wool, some paper flowers, pearls, plastic birds and some glue.

First I have rolled the plaster roll and bangles with blue colored wool you can go with your own preference. I have made three bangle sets and plaster roll, making plaster roll as top I have connected all the three bangle set bottom in the zigzag way. Then I glued the 2 birds in the plaster roll and single bird in the three bangle sets making 5 as total.

After that I have decorated the bangles with the paper flowers that I have made previously and with some pearl hangings.

Finally I have made a hook to hang them as a center decoration piece. This can be used to decorate any where in the house. Like hall , guest room, kids room, living room, balcony and also in garden.

Have you ever tried of making something out of waste /recycled/ reused/upcycled medicine cartons ? If you are searching for an idea here is something that may help you.

On office table the important and must stay thing is visiting card holder/business card holder .

Here I have tried making visiting card holder plus organizer that helps to pickup right card and time saving. I have taken 4 thin cartons ,cut them lower in center  and  secured the edges with glue, then I rolled them with colorful pattern papers, then attached them to a white plane carton piece in zigzag pattern. I labelled them with 4 categories. Since, I took 4 openings.

I took 4 openings one for personal card, second for customers cards, third one is for random cards , last one is for service people cards.I give a black border to the base card for frame look and finally decorated with orange colored Rose Kundan on left bottom to every card holder.

So here is card holder plus organizer with names labelled and fancy look that brightness everyone's office table.

Match box decors

House decor or wall decor is a beautiful art and doing this with waste or upcycle things is another beautiful thing.

I have thought of an idea of making colourful wall decor bird house for that I used upcycle match boxes  papers, some colour paper, birds shape cuttings, thread, color beads, pearls and glue.

 I have wrapped all the four match boxes with different colour sheets and made a hole on the top of the boxes using other cardboard that is black in colour as a roof and Pierce a hole considering the centre on the roof. 

I have drawn some colourful dots of opposite colour on matchboxes. I attached the bird cuttings on the bottom of the match boxes. I inserted a thread through the roof. Using another thread I made a chain with beads and pearls . Secured it at the bottom of match box.

 And here is the final output beautiful and colourful wall decorable bird houses are ready out of reused match boxes.

I thought of an adorable idea by seeing this beautiful picture of a women plucking flowers. Such a simple idea but so cute.

Stick a paper with lovely patters or plan color paper as you wish that suits the photograph well . Then stick the photo at the center or any position you like then frame the photo with pearl chain of beads chain that you like . Then give the waste CD a colorful look with nice border . Hey! photo frame is ready and how to let it stand? Take binder clips and clip on the two sides of bottom of recycle CD which acts as two legs and allows reuse CD to stand.

 

Here are two more ideas, 1) Binder clips can be replaced with simple 'C' shaped cardboard piece with two slits to insert upcycled CD into it . 2)The half piece of broken black Plastic Small Clutcher-Hair Claw (Hair accessory) can help Cd to stand on a table as a photo display.

Frock out of saree

How to make frock from saree at home

In today's video I'm going to show you how to make frock from saree at home. In this frock out of saree tutorial we can easily learn how to transform/ revamp /recycle/upcycle old saree into trendy frocks. Here in this step by step video I stitched two frocks one for 3 years kid and other for 6 years kid.

I have changed model for both frocks. I made frock cutting as the black design come to the bottom and for hands. I have also stitched two threads as to make beautiful bow on the back. I have stitched hooks and eyes to close back of frocks. 

Actually I am stitching these frocks for haldi function in marriage as our theme color is yellow.

So these frocks are clearly functional wear.

Earbuds and Toothpicks Holder

 How to make wall decorative holder for earbuds and toothpicks

Here is video about making wall decorative holder for earbuds and toothpicks. I have made this cute little holder/organizer for earbuds and toothpicks with an old CD. I thought an idea regarding old CD upcycle and ended up with this output. First of all I have colored the CD here I used blue color but you can use any depending upon your interest after that I attached some circular shaped paper cut as white suits well. I used white paper here and then I Used origami bags that look cute and attached them on both sides of CD with the help of plaster.

After that give an extra appearance attached a bow on the top and add decorative holder tag that helps CD as wall hanger.

Finally I filled a bag with earbuds and other with toothpicks. This step is also done considering color combination. Since ear buds are white in color I used yellow bag to fill them and white bag I filled with toothpicks.
